Minister Ó Cuív announces funding for Galway Airport

The Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Éamon Ó Cuív TD today announced that the Government has approved further funding for Galway Airport for 2009.
“I am delighted that further Regional Airports Subvention funding of €344,619 has been approved for Galway Airport,” said Minister Ó Cuív. “Galway Airport had sought over €900,000 in operational funding for 2009 and had been previously provided with €617,381 by Government for this year.”
