Níl leagan aistrithe ar fáil.The Government’s work opportunity schemes which include the Community Services Programme and the Rural Social Scheme are set to develop further and expand, on a cost neutral basis, when these two schemes transfer across to the Department of Social Protection early this autumn. Éamon Ó Cuív TD, Minister for Social Protection confirmed today that the Community Services Programme and the Rural Social Scheme will soon transfer over to his Department from the Department of Community, Equality and Gaeltacht Affairs, as part of the Government’s job activation measures.

Níl leagan aistrithe ar fáil.As the month of September approaches, Éamon Ó Cuív TD, Minister for Social Protection today (16th August) reminded families who may be eligible for the Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance that they still have time to apply for the scheme. The closing date for completed applications is Thursday 30th September 2010. This year some €82 million is available to support parents with the costs of school clothing and footwear for their children.
